Flu Shots Available to Staff

If this student can still smile while getting a flu shot, so can you! DPS employees still have several opportunities to get a seasonal flu shot. Flu shots will be offered to staff at the DPS Staff Development Center on the following dates.

November 6, from 8:00 am to 11:30 am
November 9, from 7:30 am to 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm
November 18, from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm
December 4, from 8:00 am to 11:30 am
December 11, from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm

Staff members and your family members, age nine and over, are invited to participate because vaccination is the best protection from the flu. (Children under age nine must receive shots from their primary care physician.)

Please note that participants will be required to bring their Blue Cross Blue Shield NC (BCBSNC) ID card and a photo ID with them to the clinic, and to sign a consent form before receiving a flu shot. There is no charge for employees and dependents who are members of one of the State Health Insurance Plans. For all others the charge will be $30.00 each.
