The Department of Public Instruction has implemented, in all North Carolina school districts, a system called HomeBase which includes a student information system (SIS) for teachers, students, parents, and administrators. Within HomeBase, the SIS is known as PowerSchool - an online program used to track each student's attendance, grades, performance, and other personal information, and the following ways:
Teachers and school administrators use HomeBase to access student data along with teaching and learning resources.
Students can access their schoolwork, grades, and learning activities.
Parents/Guardians can view their child's attendance and academic progress.
We believe PowerSchool is a powerful tool to help you be a more active participant in your student’s educational success.
