Teacher Assistant to Teacher Program (TA2TP) DPS Partnership with NCCU 2024-2025
TA2TP Criteria:
Minimum of 1 year as an Instructional Assistant with DPS
• Principal Recommendation
• Minimum of 60 credit hours from an accredited community college/university
• Minimum GPA of 2.7 from an accredited community college/university
• 1-page essay on why they want to be a teacher (Elementary, EC, or Middle Grades)
o 12-point, Ariel font, double-spaced
• Must complete the program in 3 years or less, including summer school if necessary
• Must work for DPS for a minimum of 3 years after graduation
• Must provide all transcripts to NCCU when applying
