Guest Speakers

Sign up to be a classroom guest speaker on the DPS Volunteer Portal. You will be contacted if a teacher has a need for someone with your expertise. 

Career Conversations

Serve on one of our industry-themed guest speaker panels (currently virtual) to speak to high school students across the district about your career path and industry.  A schedule of events can be accessed here.

All webinars take place at either 11:00am or 3:00pm.

Career Fairs

Schools host career fairs for students to learn about potential industries and positions in our region.  Contact us to coordinate.

Host student groups of any size at your worksite. Contact us to coordinate.

Internships 

Post your internship or job directly to Oppti where students can view and apply for it. Alternatively, use our Internship Opportunity Form if you would like our school career coordinators to screen candidates and provide you with a short-list. The information will be shared across DPS high schools.

Scholars-at-work Program

Host a group of students for a 3-5 day worksite immersion over Spring Break or during the summer. Scholars-At-Work Program.

Rising Stars Internship Program

Offer paid internships (120-hour minimum) in the summer in partnership with DPS Career & Technical Education.  Students can also earn a course credit.

Pre-apprenticeships

Opportunities available through the DPS Skilled Trades Pathway and individual companies.
