Welcome Message from Matt Hunt, Principal

Our mission at Glenn is simple: Every child will learn and grow. 

Glenn Elementary has a storied history dating back over 100 years when it was just a small building on land that wasn't quite in Durham yet.

I've had the honor of being the Principal of Glenn since 2021. During that time, Glenn has seen enormous growth owing to the tremendous and tireless work of our teachers and students. Glenn students have had three consecutive years of proficiency gains.

Our community and our students are committed to excellence, and we're grateful every day for the partnership and support we receive. Our Glenn Lions are truly the Pride of Durham.

We encourage you to reach out to us with any questions or if you wish to schedule a tour. We're always happy to show off our incredible scholars at work.

Glenn Elementary School welcomes all parents and guardians. Please enter the office when you visit in order to receive a visitor's pass.
