On Friday, March 28 all grade levels visited the Hillandale gym for a performance of Red Riding Hood by Allison Gregory. "This one-wolf show is interrupted by the delivery of a mysterious package, but instead of leaving, the delivery person joins Wolfgang to tell the story. This madcap retelling is full of laughs delivered through puns and and knock-knock jokes that will have audiences howling. Like an unexpected package, when you open up a fairy tale, you never know what you’re going to find! "
The program exposes students to the theatre arts and connects to the language arts curriculum. The timing was perfect as we wrapped up the week with our First Grade Fairy Tale Ball.
