Murray-Massenburg Elementary School -

The Choir Club at MME presented it's first musical production, Annie Jr., on Thursday, December 19th.  Students met twice weekly to learn lines, vocal repertoire, and choreography. Students were also able to learn about other theatre elements including blocking/stage directions, costumes, and stage effects. After the show students had the opportunity to reflect on their performance.  Olivia DeRocco, fifth grade student, mentioned that she was hesitant about doing a musical but was able to overcome her fears.  She also felt that the cast worked together and became a family. The production was a success and we are thankful for our talented students, ENCORE Staff, teachers, parents and our community supporters!
