I’m Mrs. Wintre' Shaw, and I am passionate about serving students, teachers, and the community. I earned my B.S. in Elementary Education with a concentration in Reading and my MSA from East Carolina University. My journey in education began as a K-2 interventionist in Pitt County, and since 2011, I have proudly served in Durham Public Schools, teaching 2nd, 4th, and 5th grades. Beyond the classroom, I have worked as an MTSS Coordinator and Instructional Coach, and I have also served as an Assistant Principal/Dean of Students for grades 3-5 and an Exceptional Children's Program Coordinator at a charter school.
Outside of work, I love traveling, spending time with family, gardening, and interior designing. I am excited to be part of the Brogden Middle School family, where I look forward to supporting our students, empowering our teachers, and making a positive impact in our community.
